Katelyn

Katelyn was born and raised in San Jose, California. From a young age, she found a passion for In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, writing, and spending time with friends. You can occasionally catch her reading in the Botanical Gardens at UCLA as well!

She is currently an undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in Physiological Sciences with minors in Global Health and Disability Studies. She is an active member in various organizations such as Special Olympics and Expressive Movement Initiative, where she aims to promote inclusion in sports. She is also dedicated to advocacy and justice through language, using Vietnamese and American Sign Language to advance accessibility, strengthen patient-provider connections, and advocate for underserved communities in healthcare.

After her undergraduate studies, Katelyn plans on attending medical school. Katelyn is excited to be joining the Level Up staff as a Direct Support Professional and is looking forward to forming meaningful connections, encouraging healthy life skills, and learning from other students' experiences.
