Paul
Paul was born in Hong Kong, China, and raised in a traditional Chinese household. While academics were a strong focus from an early age, he quickly discovered a passion for connecting with others and building meaningful relationships. This passion led him to seek out opportunities to engage with and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.
He is currently a third-year student at UCLA, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Through his studies, Paul aims to explore how these disciplines intersect to provide comprehensive, individualized support for neurodivergent individuals.
At UCLA, Paul is involved with the Anxiety and Depression Research Center, the PEERS Clinic, and the Psi Chi International Honor Society. He plans to pursue a career in clinical psychology, focusing on personalized approaches that empower individuals to thrive.
Paul joined Level Up Solutions in the summer of 2025. As a Direct Support Professional, he is dedicated to fostering understanding and promoting independence among neurodiverse individuals. He works to help participants build confidence, develop essential life skills, and lead fulfilling lives.
Outside of academics and work, Paul enjoys playing classical guitar, playing soccer, and watching anime.
