Sarah
Sarah is a third-year psychology major at UCLA, where she also pursues a minor in Asian American Studies. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she is passionate about understanding human behavior and supporting individuals across diverse communities. Sarah aspires to pursue a career in occupational therapy, where she can help individuals build meaningful and independent lives.
She currently works as a Physical Therapy Aide at a clinic in Beverly Hills. In addition to her clinical experience, Sarah volunteers at an outpatient pediatric clinic, a skilled nursing facility, and through the Los Angeles Unified School District. At UCLA, Sarah is a research assistant at the Anxiety and Depression Research Center and is actively involved in student leadership and mental health advocacy through Wazo Connect. As a peer mentor and the Director of Mentee Relations for Wazo Connect, she designs and plans biweekly training workshops on peer counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support, supporting mentors to effectively counsel UCLA undergraduates from diverse backgrounds. She also works to pair mentors with mentees based on personal needs, interests, and backgrounds.
Sarah joined the Level Up team as a Direct Support Professional in 2026. She is grateful for the opportunity to uplift individuals with disabilities, support their independence, and foster an inclusive, empowering community through genuine connection and compassionate care.
